Your key to online Job Hunt

Sometimes interviewees have a tendency to get carried away during an interview, and start saying the wrong kinds of things. Here’s some of the worst things you could possibly say in an adverrtising job interview:

null

1. Rant about the frustrations of your past job.
THIS IS HIGHLY UNPROFESSIONAL. We understand that you might have strong feelings about your last job and what transpired there that prompted you to leave, but it is not relevant to your job interview. It also communicates that you have no self-control and are prone to conflicts with your co-workers.

2. Discuss the circumstances of your resignation / quitting / termination.
Unless asked, do not venture here. And when asked, don’t embellish and keep ugly details (if any) out of the conversation.

3. When asked to discuss difficult clients, talk only of success stories.
Focus on what you did to make the project succeed.
